Why are we still going to the streets?

There are no standing churches in Gaza to celebrate Christmas anymore!

• We refuse to celebrate by leaving our people in Palestine as an afterthought.
• We will not be blindly indulging in the holiday spirit, while many Palestinians are unable to.

With this demonstration,

• we will show that Heidelberg is neither accepting the universities nor Germany’s complicity in the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians.
• we will go to the streets in solidarity with the Palestinians as well as all other from colonialism and racism suffering groups.
• we will not remain silent when the settlers and the settler-colonial regime is non-stop seizing Palestinian land and historical heritage, killing and torturing Palestinians, while Merz is encouraging all these crimes.
• we will not allow the careless people to enjoy their peace while others are murdered with German weapons.
