On the invitation of the Belarusian students, a renowned Belarusian historian, ethnologist and cultural anthropologist, Dr Pavel Tereshkovich, is visiting Heidelberg with his lecture “Belarusian way to (post)modernity”. Dr Tereshkovich has published over a hundred manuscripts and research articles on Belarusian history and the formation of Belarusian identity. He was the founder of the Ethnology, Museology and History of Arts Department at the Belarusian State University (Minsk, Belarus), the head of the Department of History of the European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania) and a guest researcher at Justus Liebig University (Gießen, Germany).
